Booking, Payment & Cancellation Policies

All spots are open for online booking + space to drop in is not guaranteed. Our booking system is an online platform—classes cannot be booked or cancelled by phone or in person. Active membership or class passes are required to book.

Cancelling with less than one hour notice incurs a $5 fee for unlimited members, or the loss of your class. (Fees are donated into our YTT Scholarship Fund.)

Booking online isn’t mandatory, but if you enjoy popular classes (evenings, weekends, and room-temperature classes) please book early to ensure your spot is held.

Full-time students, seniors, or instructors using discounted passes:
Discounted passes must be purchased in person. On your next visit, buy one or more extra passes to book your future classes online.  Buy up to 4 discounted passes at a time.

For referrals, and Annual Members bringing a guest to a popular class:
Book your guest’s spot in popular classes a day in advance—share their full name + email with our desk staff.  If your guest does not attend, and you have not cancelled their spot, the member will be billed their guest’s $5 no-show fee.

All purchases are non-refundable, non-transferable, and may not be shared.

All class packages and studio memberships are non-refundable, non-transferable, and may not be shared between clients. Regular price 5 and 10 class packages purchased from Union Yoga + Wellness do not expire unless otherwise specified (for example, class packages bought at discounted rate do expire). Class packages bought at full price prior to January 2019 have expiration dates that may be extended at Union’s discretion. GROUPON 10 class pass expires 3 months from date of redemption.  All classes are priced in Canadian dollars and are subject to HST.

Monthly Memberships

Union Yoga + Wellness offer a monthly auto-renewal membership. This membership is billed to your credit card on a monthly basis and may be cancelled at any point after three monthly payments have been made in full. You may cancel your membership at any time after the initial 3 month commitment subject to the following. Cancelling before 12 monthly payments entitles the studio to charge your credit card for an additional month during which time you may continue to attend classes. After 12 payments, there is no charge to cancel the membership. Memberships may be put on hold twice per 12 month period for a maximum total hold period of 2 months, and a minimum of 1 week per hold. To cancel, give more than 30 days notice in writing by emailing our Membership Manager. To pause, email our Membership Manager with at least 7 days notice. Note that holds and cancellations will not come into effect until the studio provides its express approval to the member by way of email confirmation. Please allow 3 business days for a reply.

Annual memberships

12-month membership must be paid for in full at the time of purchase and will expire exactly one year from the date of purchase. Memberships may be put on hold twice per 12 month period for a maximum of 2 months, and membership is non-refundable and non-transferable. To pause, email our Membership Manager with at least 7 days notice.

Online reservations (+ ClassPass*)

To book a spot click the “sign up” button on our schedule page up to 30 minutes prior to the start of class. Arrive & sign in at least 10min before you class.  Bookings are held until 5 min before start of class—then are forfeited to other clients. If you cannot attend, be sure to cancel your booking online.

*ClassPass clients must also arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the start of class, or else they forfeit their spot.

Cancellation policy

Workshops, pre-registered courses, or any other special studio event (excluding routine classes) may be exchanged for studio credit with a minimum of 4 business days notice by email to our Membership Manager unless otherwise specified. No refunds.


Massages cancelled without 24 hours notice will be billed.  Why? Cancelling without notice directly impacts our RMTs income.
