Payment & Cancellation Policies

All purchases are non-refundable, non-transferable, and may not be shared.

All class packages and studio memberships are non-refundable, non-transferable, and may not be shared between clients. Regular price 5 and 10 class packages purchased from Union Yoga + Wellness do not expire unless otherwise specified (for example, class packages bought at discounted rate do expire). Class packages bought at full price prior to January 2019 have expiration dates that may be extended at Union’s discretion. GROUPON 10 class pass expires 3 months from date of redemption.  All classes are priced in Canadian dollars and are subject to HST.

Monthly auto-renewal memberships

Union Yoga + Wellness offer a monthly auto-renewal membership. This membership is billed to your credit card on a monthly basis and may be cancelled at any point after three monthly payments have been made in full. You may cancel your membership at any time after the initial 3 month commitment subject to the following. Cancelling before 12 monthly payments entitles the studio to charge your credit card for an additional month during which time you may continue to attend classes. After 12 payments, there is no charge to cancel the membership. Memberships may be put on hold twice per 12 month period for a maximum total hold period of 2 months, and a minimum of 1 week per hold. To cancel a membership or place a hold on your membership, please complete our online form us a minimum of 14 days before you would like the pause to come into effect and 30 days to cancel. Note that holds and cancellations will not come into effect until the studio provides its express approval to the member by way of email confirmation. Please allow 3 business days for a reply.

Annual memberships

12-month membership must be paid for in full at the time of purchase and will expire exactly one year from the date of purchase. Memberships may be put on hold once per 12 month period for a maximum of 1 month, and membership is non-refundable and non-transferable. To place your annual membership on hold, complete our online form 14 days before your requested hold start date.

10 class pass auto-renew

We offer our 10 class pass at a discounted rate if your sign up for an auto-renew subscription. The regular price for a 10 class pass is $170 + HST, but with auto-renew, get 10 classes for only $150, valid for 6 months. The pass will automatically refill when your classes run out or after 6 months have elapsed, whichever comes first. Minimum 1 refill required.  To cancel your 10 class pass auto-renew, please email our community manager, Leia,  before your classes are used up. There is a $35 fee to cancel before contract terms have been met.

Online reservations, ClassPass

You may reserve a spot in a class through the “sign up” button on our schedule page up to 30 minutes prior to the start of class. If you have pre-registered for a class but know you cannot attend, please log back in to the online system and sign your self out of the class. After three “no shows” you may lose your online privileges. If you have reserved a spot online, you must still sign in at the front desk by 10 minutes prior to the start of class, otherwise your spot may be given to other students.  ClassPass students must also arrive at least 10 minutes prior to the start of class, or else they forfeit their spot.

Cancellation policy

Students may cancel workshops, pre-registered courses, or any other special studio event (excluding routine classes) in exchange for studio credit with a minimum of seven business days notice by email to Leia, our Community Manager, unless otherwise specified. No refunds.
